Welcome to Brick Box Club (Australia). By subscribing to a plan, you agree to the terms below, designed to keep the experience smooth and fair for everyone.


1. Delivery & Shipping

We ship using Australia Post. Shipping is charged separately for each box and is not included in your subscription fee. We try to keep shipping costs as low as possible, and we do not make any profit from shipping, infact in some cases we cover some of the shipping costs ourselves.

  • You’ll receive a tracking number via email upon dispatch. Typical delivery is 2–5 business days (timeframes not guaranteed by Australia Post).
  • All returns must be lodged via your local Australia Post office using the return label provided inside your box.

2. Hygiene

Every LEGO® set is checked and cleaned periodically. We use hot soapy water to meet our hygiene standards. We also expose all sets to a UV light to kill bacteria between each dispatch.

3. Care of Sets

Please treat borrowed sets with care so the next member enjoys them too. Key points include:

  • Return the set in the same condition received.
  • Failure to keep the sets in good condition may result in a charge placed on your account and/or immediate cancellation of your plan. In addition we reserve the right not to allow members to become Master Builders if they have not demonstrated three months of good borrowing practices .
  • Good borrowing practices include but are not limited to; minimal damage/missing pieces, paying the monthly subscription fee on time, and treating the packages with care during the return delivery or initial receipt.

4. Returns

  1. Fully dismantle the set.
  2. Follow the return instructions that are included in every box. If you do not have a copy of the return instructions, you can refer to our Return Instructions webpage, or the Borrow Dashboard's 'Return Instructions' tab.
  3. Lodge at your local Australia Post office.

Not following these steps may delay your next dispatch. If a lego set is not fully disassembled, we reserve the right to charge the member an adminstration fee that covers the time it takes for us to fully dismantle the set.

5. Subscription Information

  • Subscriptions are monthly and auto-renew each month until cancelled.
  • Your plan determines concurrent sets:
    • Builder’s Box — 1 set at a time.
    • Creator’s Crate — 2 sets at a time.
  • You may keep a set as long as you like while having an active subscription.
  • Billing continues while sets are on loan, including the time it takes to process the set back into our inventory. We will process the sets back into our library as soon as possible, usually on the day we recieve it. However during peak periods this can take up to 2 business days.

6. Cancelling Your Subscription

  • You can cancel your plan by navigating to the My Subscriptions page and clicking the cancel plan button.
  • You cannot cancel until all borrowed sets are returned and all outstanding debts/charges are paid.
  • Once cleared, you will be able to cancel your subscription by first logging into your account and navigating to the 'My Subscription'. If you have any issues with cancelling, please send an email to support@brickboxclub.com.au. No refunds are issued after sets have been borrowed, as the service has been provided.
  • If you have signed up to a plan and have not yet borrowed anything, you are able to immediately cancel by navigating to the My Subscriptions page and will recieve a refund for the subscription cost.

7. Pausing Your Subscription

  • Pauses are available on request. Send us an email at support@brickboxclub.com.au
  • All sets must be returned and any charges settled before a pause is approved.
  • During a pause, billing stops until reactivation.
  • We can only pause a subscription for a maximum of three months.

8. Upgrading & Downgrading

  • You may upgrade from Builder’s Box (1 set) to Creator’s Crate (2 sets) at any time, provided there are no outstanding charges on your account.
  • You may downgrade to Builder’s Box after all sets are returned and any outstanding charges are paid.

9. Friend Referrals

New applicants who join via a valid referral receive free shipping on their first delivery. This first delivery applies to one lego set. The Refferer also gets one free shipping credit. Referral benefits are non-transferable and may be changed or withdrawn at our discretion.

10. Missing Pieces

We use very sensitive scales to weigh each set before and after someone borrows from our library. This enables us to identify if there are missing pieces easily. However, occasionally there may be missing pieces.

  • If you notice missing parts during your borrow period, please notify us promptly. If the missing pieces are critical to the build, we can arrange for replacement pieces to be sent to you as soon as possible.
  • If a set is returned with unreported missing items, we may charge the replacement cost plus an administration fee. This depends on what type of pieces are missing and how many pieces are missing.
  • If there are less than 10 grams of standard lego pieces missing, we may cover the cost of replacement. If there are over 10 grams of standard lego pieces missing, we will charge the member for the missing pieces plus an adminstration fee.
  • Special pieces includes pieces that are typically unique to the set, such as but not limited to; minifigures, baseplates, rare parts like fabrics or electronics. If there are any special peices missing, we will charge the cost of replacement for any missing pieces plus an adminstration fee.
  • Borrowing privileges are suspended until any outstanding charges are cleared.

11. Non-Payment & Outstanding Charges

  • If sets are not returned or charges remain unpaid, we may charge up to the full recommended retail price (RRP) of the set(s) to the payment method on file.
  • By subscribing, you authorise Brick Box Club to recover such costs automatically if required.
  • Accounts with unpaid balances will be suspended until cleared.

12. Accurate Address

Please enter your delivery address accurately at checkout. We are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from incorrect address details. If a set is lost or damaged due to an address error, you will be liable for up to the full RRP of the set dispatched.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Brick Box Club is not liable for harm, damage, or loss arising from the use or handling of goods, services, or content supplied under your subscription.

16. Theft, Loss & Recovery

All LEGO® sets remain the property of Brick Box Club at all times. Members are required to return borrowed sets as instructed. If a set is not returned within 16 days of your account entering arrears, or if Brick Box Club reasonably suspects theft, fraud, or deliberate misuse, the following applies:

  • You will be charged up to the full recommended retail price (RRP) of the set(s) plus any administrative and recovery costs.
  • Brick Box Club reserves the right to engage external debt collection agencies and/or commence legal proceedings to recover losses.
  • Failure to return sets without payment may constitute theft under Australian law. Brick Box Club reserves the right to refer such matters to law enforcement.
  • Your membership may be immediately suspended or terminated without refund.

14. Price & Term Changes

  • We may adjust subscription pricing or modify services from time to time.
  • We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice of any price changes.
  • Updates will be reflected in these Terms & Conditions.

15. Authenticity

All Brick Box Club sets are genuine LEGO® products. If you suspect there are non-genuine pieces within the set, please let us know immediately.
