How do I borrow?

Go to the 'Pricing' page.
Pick a monthly subscription plan that works best for you.
You will be prompted to create an account if you don't have one already, and then prompted for payment.
In the Borrow Dashboard, go to the 'Available Sets' page and choose from our library of LEGO® sets.
Confirm your order and our team will dispatch it quickly to you.

Who is this for? Is this just for kids?

Absolutely not - LEGO® is for everyone! At BrickBox Club, you're only limited by your imagination. We have wide range of sets appropriate for all ages. Each set has it's own minimum age determined by LEGO® however this is not a pre-requisite for having fun! The age guide on sets helps people gauge how complicated the build will be. Grandparents or Grandchildren, build to your heart's content!

Please note that some LEGO® sets contain small parts that are NOT suitable for and may pose a hazard to children under 3 years of age.

How long can I borrow the set(s)?

You can keep the LEGO® for as long as you'd like! There is no time limit for borrowing times, so you can take your time and enjoy the experience. As long as your subscription is active, you can go at your own pace.

How many sets can I borrow at one time?

For our 'Builder's Box' plans, you can borrow one LEGO® set a time.

For the 'Creator's Crate' plan, you can borrow two LEGO® sets at a time.

When it's time for a change you can borrow again whenever you like, so long as you have returned the existing set(s). Our Builder's Box and Creator's Crate plans are great value if you would like to build more than one LEGO® set per month.

Who pays for shipping and how do returns work?

You will need to pay for the shipping. As we grow, our shipping rates will come down over time. We do not make any profit on the shipping fees, in-fact we charge you less than it costs us to deliver (and return) your Lego set to maximize enjoyment for you, our Club Members.

The shipping fee paid for each borrow will include the cost of returning the set.

We currently use Australia post as our shipping provider and it takes 2+ business days for the box to arrive, depending on your location.

When it's time to return the set, please follow our easy instructions on our 'How to Return' page for organising the return. Sets are returned to us in the original packaging we provide and are to be sent via an Australia Post Office.

How much does shipping cost and how long does it take to arrive?

Shipping Cost

We offer our members the cheapest shipping available to us currently (Australia Post Band 5 Rates).

The cost of shipping depends on two factors:

Your location in Australia;
The size of the box.

Some sets can fit into a small box, whereas others require a large box. Our Club House HQ is located in the Brisbane Metropolitan area. So for example, sending a package between Capital City areas is cheaper than sending to rural areas.

Our shipping rates are calculated automatically, and if you become a member and find that you are not happy with the shipping costs, please send us an email to support@brickboxclub.com.au and we will ensure you recieve a refund for your subscription. Please note, that we do not refund subscription fees if a user has borrowed already.

Shipping Times

We use standard parcel post, so shipping times to areas on Australia's East Coast are approximately 1-4 days. Shipments to Western Australia, can take up to 6 days to arrive.

Our LEGO sets are dispatched everyday and but cannot be dispatched on the weekend as Australia Post does not allow this.

What is our 'Master Builder' qualification?

If you would like to borrow our premium LEGO® sets (e.g. Millennium Falcon), you will unlock access to them and become a Master Builder if you have been subscribed for three months.

But don't worry, we have an amazing selection of sets to choose from before those three months are up.

The three month waiting time is to make sure our Club Members know how Brick Box Club works and are treating our library with care. Brick Box Club is built on trust and we aim to continue providing great experiences for our members for as long as possible.

What if there's a missing piece when you recieve your set?

Our team checks each LEGO® set carefully before we send it to you. However, mistakes do happen and in the event that you're missing a piece, and if that missing piece(s) is disrupting your build significantly, then please reach out to us immediately by sending an email to support@brickboxclub.com.au. Please include the number of bricks missing which you can determine by looking at the build manual, as well as including any pictures that might help us identify the missing piece. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.

What if I lose a piece or break something?

Oops! We understand accidents happen. Sometimes we don't know our own strength, or a brick flies off the table and is eaten by the couch.

Please contact us by sending an email to support@brickboxclub.com.au and describe which pieces are affected.

If you've misplaced one or two pieces, especially if those pieces are standard LEGO® pieces, we may be able to replace it with no extra charge to you. If you have lost under 10 grams of standard LEGO® pieces, we may be able to replace it with no extra cost to you.

If the missing/broken pieces are non-standard LEGO® pieces, or if there are 10 grams or more missing, we will charge you the cost price of the replacement pieces and an administration fee. This is to ensure the next person who borrows the set is able to complete their build. Once any outstanding balances have been paid, you will be free to borrow another set - no question's asked!

Can I request a set that we don't have available in our library?

You sure can! We aim to be continually adding new LEGO® sets as often as we can. To register your interest for a particular LEGO® set, please login to your account and head to your Borrow Dashboard. Click on the 'Wish List' tab. You can enter in the name of the set you're after and also the set ID number. This way we can stay on top of what our Club Members really want.

If you have been meaning to lease a particular set from our library but is consistently leased before you can borrow it, it's still helpful for us to know, so that we can stock enough sets for our members.

Is our library real LEGO® ?

Yes, we would never settle for anything non-legitimate. Each set is 100% authentic LEGO®.

I'm worried about the cleanliness of the bricks. How clean is the LEGO®?

Each set is subject to a UV light clean which kills any little germs hiding on the bricks. We also periodically clean all sets to ensure that the bricks are squeaky clean.

We follow Australian safety standards closely to ensure every time you rent a set from us, you'll have a great time.
